From meta ability to meta Intelligence
A Question: Is Play (playful ) a way of being, and intelligence something else?
Being Logical is ”a way of being” and an intelligence. ( they are one and the same)
Being Musical is “a way of being” and an intelligence. ( they are one and the same)
Being Natural is “a way of being” and an intelligence. ( they are one and the same)
Being Playful is a way of being and an intelligence. (They are one and the same)
The key to any Intelligence is in having the “ability”. The intelligence called “Logical” is based on a combination of several abilities if not dozens. Which eventually develops, through a playing with various abilities, (combining various abilities) until they fuse together into a seemingly single unit which we call Logical intelligence.
Due to the works of Howard Gardner and others, the classical definition of Intelligence has now broken free from its restraining prison. And The definition of intelligence, has become more flexible more fluid and varied. The 8 or 9 Intelligences so far being defined is only the beginning, I predict it will be discovered that there are as many intelligences as there are “ways of being”, And the role of abilities (Human Universals) will play a major role, for all these multitudes of intelligences “are” based on “Having the ability” Play develops naturally this ability, one learns this ability simply because play is all about “how to Learn” not what to Learn, (Which we tend to overlook when we are studying Children and play).
Such Intelligences open up new ways of understanding ourselves and they blossom up in our human mind. They are spreading outward and growing like branches in a tree, from this tree I call Play, the Meta Intelligence, behind all these branches, together with these branches and changing these branches as they grow and mature.
Just like the neurons in our brain we are Playing, and neurons when stimulated create new branches and link up in new ways to find the best and most optimal way to create a” New Ability” Our brain is designed to play, we are born with a Meta Intelligence. You could say we are playing automatically. Even when we think we are not - our brain is still playing.
As children we are more conscious of how important play is. It is a human need to learn “How to Learn “ We are born with a Meta Intelligence, our brain which is a super computer a meta computer is designed to “Learn How to Learn” Learning how to Learn, is without a doubt, an Intelligence worth having. Loosing this Meta intelligence, is not good for the brain.
Research into Altzeimers Disease would benefit from the importance of Play to stimulate the neurons to grow again. The more we play the more neurons we create. It is possible to reverse the loss of neurons in the brain as we get older.
From the beginning we use our brain, (or our brain is using us) to learn the ability to survive what is happening and to develop abilities as quickly as possible to help prolong our survival. This raw survival instinct matures into a “mastering” of what is happening. This is an ongoing process throughout life. Learning means mastering. (I have learned to cycle, I now have mastered a bicycle).
Maintaining the optimal level of the brain, in my opinion, is clearly linked to maintaining, and consciously being open to play. To play in such a way as children do - with everything! To play (open to building and breaking down and rebuilding)with ideas, thoughts, feelings, language, images, systems,principles,models, senses, objects, knowledge, sciences, relationships, The happier we will be. As Gregory Chaitin replied to my letter where I asked him to look at the possibility that Mathematics is playing. He replied, the worlds top meta- mathematician , “Yes! I am also playing with Ideas.”
Any society in the future which places Play as a priority will be a prosperous and contented society
This has been predicted by “future researchers “worldwide it is known as the 5th Society
What Odense Council is doing now- “Consciously” and what Denmark for years has been doing (supporting the value of play and children) already proves the point.
Denmark is one of the richest nations in the world, and has been voted by Unesco every year for the past so many years as “the happiest nation on earth”.
The more conscious we become of play as the underlying key to enrich our lives, intellectually and emotionally, the more we will enrich society and the world around us.

Play is a Meta Intelligence
Who would ever believe, that play would sneak up on us and bite us on our tail?

Play is a Meta Intelligence
The Meta Code is a binary Code
I include the final piece of the puzzle regarding the Meta Model, which strangely enough in this illustration is also the first! The Meta Code is a Binary Code. 0101010101010101010101010101010 infinite
Mathematics is a process not a product
The original lego brick has the binary code 01
The Underside of the brick is (0)
The top side of the brick is (1)
The 3 models appear to be complete, but in fact they are still open ended and this open endedness contains more (0) than (1) though at first glance it appears that there is (1).
The top of the brick has more (0) than (1). There is more space than there is object, though it appears that there is more object than space. The lego brick is designed to create more space than object. And this is what all Meta models do.
One could say (in a very simplified form which children with lego bricks would understand);
From the view point of Meta; These 3 models at their edges contain more (0) than (1)
From the view point of Meta; These models more- do not exist , than they exist.
The models are built more out of nothing than they are something
The universe does not exist, or the universe has created everything out of nothing.
Everything is created inside (0) nothing.
The More you create and expand in the universe the more (0) there will be.
Lego Is a Meta Model - just like our brain - a processor which demonstrates the principle of infinite possibilities while at the same time creating the abilities (tools, models) to realize it. To Live it out.

Play is a Meta Intelligence
Defining intelligence is highly problematic. Is there an 'intelligence' that equips us to solve all kinds of problems and answer all questions, regardless of their nature? Or are there different intelligences that help us deal with particular problems and solutions? The scientific community is divided on the issueOne of the main tenet's underpinning the idea of a single entity 'intelligence' is the concept of 'General Intelligence', or 'g'. Devised by English Psychologist, Charles Spearman, in the early 20th Century 'g' was a statistical measure of performance across a variety of tests.
Spearman found that the same people who did well in a variety of mental tests tended to use a part in their brains that he termed 'g'. This 'g' laid the foundation for the notion of a single intelligence, which enables us to undertake everyday mental tasks.
A recent study seems to endorse Spearman's theory. Research has found that a part of the brain called the 'lateral prefrontal cortex' is the only area of the brain to increase in blood flow when volunteers tackle complicated puzzles.
Spearman's concept, however, is still highly controversial with many people questioning both the statistical process and the simplistic nature of 'g'. There is also a body of research that states that our mental ability is a function of social factors such as education and not one's inherent biological make-up.

Play is a Meta Intelligence
Is there the possibility that deep down in the innermost crevices of the human mind, there is a vestibule, the recipient and harbinger of a secret?

Dear Gregory J Chaitin,
Thank you for your reply. I was surprised that you recognized the fountain of the playing children on our website, and that you have visited Odense while you were in Denmark. Tor Norretranders I briefly communicated with, after reading his book “The User Illusion”. He at the time was busy working on his latest book.
I was also glad to hear you enjoyed seeing the children and families playing at Tivoli Park , and that you yourself are playing with ideas. You also mentioned in your letter your own surprise that people who like Lego would also like metamathematics.
I thought it would be interesting to show you something now, how I also play with ideas. I am now beginning to communicatie to Lego and other businesses, institutes, and educational centres, that “Play is a Meta Intelligence”, a meta model. Lego was open to hear that they have a Meta Model .
And like Meta mathematics I See the Meta aspect not so much as an overview “over” view or a “behind” view , but something which is deeply involved in the whole process, not only behind, but also together, and also playing such an influence that it also changes the object of attention so to speak, this could also be a mathematical formula or a simple number.
I took some photos yesterday, wondering how I could demonstrate to you “What I am Playing with” I hope you Enjoy them. As I also love to play with ideas.
Meta Models = behind= together= changes
In the first photo there are three models, a house, a figure, and an animal. Each model contains 40 identical lego bricks (together) Here one can see that within each model is the potential to be another model. Each model can break down and transform itself into another model. This process is infinite, or in other words limited only by the amount of Lego Bricks, in this case; Lego: there are enough Lego bricks in the world so that each human being in the world today, could own 62 pieces.
Each model above could also represent a mathematical formula, a mathematical model for example; model 1, model 2, model 3, or alternatively one could call them, model 1, and model 1, model 1 They are all model “1’s” but each model “1” is arranged differently. They could also be called number 1 number 1 number 1
Unlike Multi-models, these Models, can build models which are not in the photo, do not exist yet (change).
On first glance, these models appear to be complete: a finished model, such as a house , a figure, an animal. They are still open, they are still open to what is behind them, what is together with them, and what changes them. And this which is (behind and together and changes) they already have within them, because in reality each one of them is not a model at all, Each and everyone of them is a metamodel And each and everyone of them has the potential to build an infinite number of “1’s” or “2’s “or” 3’s” for that matter……They will accept and can create any model simply because they are the mother of all models.
For the Mother of all Models, is the original Lego brick.
In the second photo one can see one of the models(Meta Model) is about to accept the Mother of all these 3 models (the Metamodel).
All of these models will accept the mother of all models, accept what is behind within them what is together with them and what will changes them. These models are open ended they are a process, they are not a product, A closed system IE. A Model.. all models are closed, or you could say, a wooden house, a wooden doll, a wooden animal, they cannot change, they cannot become another model.
Multi models are built from models upon models, each model unable to become the other.
Meta models are different, they have the structure for creating genius;
Meta Mathematics, computers, Lego, artificial Intelligence, Intelligence, Play.
